Mean Mama Films can handle the full Thailand side of a production from first budget through wrap: budgeting, film permits, visas and work-authorisation paperwork, location scouting and permits, local crew, casting, equipment, transport, accommodation, production logistics, local authorities, production accounting and cash rebate coordination.
We can take on the complete Thailand production or only the parts you need. The scope is agreed before budgeting, so the producer can see exactly which services, crew and production costs sit with us.

Yes. Mean Mama Films Co., Ltd. is registered with the Thailand Film Office as a Foreign Film Production Local Coordinator, registration no. 01-2026-00629. This allows us to handle Thailand film permit applications and coordinate the required local production paperwork for foreign productions.
The Thailand Film Office also lists local coordinators as the companies responsible for permits, government coordination, local crew, talent, locations, equipment and other production requirements.

Outside Thailand, Mean Mama Films supports productions in Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, India, Japan and Myanmar.
For multi-country shoots, we can stay with the production as the main production contact while working with the required local companies, fixers and suppliers in each territory. This is useful for documentaries, reality, commercials and series that need to move through several Asian countries without rebuilding the production setup at every border.

For a production shooting in Thailand, the local production services agreement is signed with Mean Mama Films Co., Ltd., a registered Thai company and Thailand Film Office Local Coordinator.
The contract sets out the agreed production services, approved budget, payment schedule, responsibilities and production dates. For shoots in other Asian countries, the contracting structure depends on local law and the services required there; where a local entity must contract or invoice, we set that structure out before the production is confirmed.

For Thailand productions, production advances are paid by international bank transfer to Mean Mama Films Co., Ltd. against the agreed contract, budget and invoice. We then pay the approved Thai crew, suppliers, locations and production expenses locally and track the spend against the production budget.
During production we can provide cost reports and supporting documentation, followed by a final reconciliation after wrap. For rebate-eligible productions, the accounting structure needs to follow the Thailand incentive requirements from the beginning, so we set this up with the production before qualifying expenditure starts.

Send whatever you already have: ideally the script, treatment or storyboard, proposed shoot dates, number of shoot days, location references, travelling crew, cast requirements, equipment requirements and target budget.
If you already have a shooting schedule or an existing US or European production budget, include that too. An early-stage brief is enough for us to start identifying the likely crew, permit, location and budget requirements.

Yes. Mean Mama Films works in English, Spanish, Russian and Thai. International producers can communicate directly with us in English, Spanish or Russian, while our Thai production team handles local crew, suppliers, locations and government coordination in Thai.
This is particularly useful when the international producer needs contracts, budgets and production decisions discussed directly with the senior production team while the local operation continues in Thai.
